How to delete your Qoria account
You can delete your Qoria account at any time. Below is how to do it, what happens afterwards, and the small set of data we are required to keep.
Two ways to delete your account
1. From inside the app
- Open Qoria and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
2. By email
If you cannot access your account, write to support@qoria.app from the email address that was used to sign up. Use the subject line “Delete my Qoria account” so we can route it quickly. We will confirm the request and start the deletion within a few business days.
What happens after you ask us to delete
- It is permanent. Once we begin the deletion, you cannot recover the account. We do not keep a draft or a paused state for you to come back to.
- You cannot sign up again with the same email. That address is blocked from future registration on Qoria. If you ever decide to return, you would need to use a different email.
- Your profile and posts come down. Your public profile, posts, comments, follows, and uploaded media are removed from the app within a few days.
Timeline
We aim to fully delete or anonymize your data within three months of your request. The schedule inside that window:
- Your account is disabled immediately so no one can sign in with it.
- Your public profile and posts are removed from the app within a few days.
- Backups, audit logs, and derived data are scrubbed or anonymized over the following weeks until we reach the three-month mark.
What we are required to keep
Two categories of data are not deleted, each for a specific reason:
Content you sold. If another Qoria user purchased a course, post, or video from you, that buyer keeps access to what they paid for. The file remains available to them inside the app and they can re-download it. Removing the purchase from the buyer would be unfair to them.
Financial and regulatory records. Payout records, payment receipts, tax-related information, and similar transactional data are retained for as long as applicable law requires us to. This is a regulatory obligation; we keep only the minimum required.
Questions
Send anything to support@qoria.app. If your request is about an account you can no longer log into, please send it from the original signup email so we can verify it is you.
